" their long running show is a never-miss for New York's movers and shakers and political insiders.....both are bottomless pits of insider knowledge, New York attitude and razor sharp wit ....two of the most entertaining pundits on television." -- THE NEW YORK TIMES
Following the September 11th attacks, Mark Simone hosted a dramatic, daily, hourlong, live TV broadcast interviewing experts on terrorism and grief counselors who took calls live from many World Trade center victims and their rescuers. What was intended to only be a week long special , was so gripping, so critically acclaimed, so moving and so highly rated, that it was still running six months later. Mayor Giuliani and Governor Pataki both praised the broadcasts as an important factor in helping many New Yorkers deal with the trauma of the attacks. New York One was given a special award by the city of New York for the series.
